Fire Marshall Training

Fire & Evacuation Assessment

Fire & evacuation assessments are a legal requirement in the UK. If you are the responsible person for a building or property, you must carry out an assessment to identify and assess the potential fire hazards and evacuation needs in your property and put in place measures to reduce the risk injury or death during an emergency.

What is a Fire & Evacuation Assessment?

This is a process of identifying and assessing potential fire hazards and evacuation needs in a building or property. It provides guidance on how to manage and reduce the risk of fires from occurring and provide the best possible route & equipment for evacuation of anyone in the building.

The assessment will identify any fire or evacuation hazard in a certain area. A recommendation may then be made for the installation of a suitable firefighting appliances, training for staff members on how to use the extinguisher or become a fire marshal or identify needs and location for evacuation equipment.
