KFive is a family run business that’s been providing safety evacuation equipment, training and services since 2004. As experts in the field, we have helped countless customers to improve the safety and security of their facilities, as well as being a source of after-sales support and information.

It’s the duty of all businesses to ensure the safety of every person who uses the facility, including the safe and rapid evacuation of disabled service users. KFive’s evacuation chairs and other evacuation equipment help businesses to both comply with health and safety legislation and create positive working environments.

How can we help?

As architects and builders well know, all new constructions need to comply with rigid health, safety and building legislation. This has made service user’s safety the primary concern for many building projects. From the inclusion of lifts in multi-story facilities to fire and evacuation equipment provision – the well-being of occupants is paramount.

KFive is a leading resource and training centre for architects and the construction industry, allowing the creation and realisation of secure structures and safe living and working environments. Although fire prevention is a major factor in any new building, accidents do happen, so an effective fire contingency for all building occupants is also required.

By using KFive evacuation equipment in strategic locations, architects and builders can both comply with legislation and maintain the aesthetic qualities of the building. We can also offer training in the correct procedures and uses of all equipment to any relevant staff or building occupiers. We also offer training programmes for training in-building staff who can pass on the relevant information – training the trainers.

In addition, evacuation also has particular relevance to the construction industry, as it is required for use on sites in case of accident or emergency. Construction sites are dangerous places, and also places of work, so the same health and safety legislation applies. So, as well as consideration of evacuation equipment for the project, construction industry operatives also need to think about the safety of their own employees.
